Mets.com is reporting that the deal swapping Brian Bannister for reliever Ambriorix Burgos is a done deal.  Burgos has pitched in 127 games over the last two years with an era of 4.81.  What's impressive is his 137 strikeouts to 68 walks.  Over the two year span Burgos has given up 22 home runs, but 16 came last season in which he pitched only 7 more innings than the previous year. As a part time closer, Burgos saved 18 games last year. Not bad for a team as bad as the Royals.  I guess the question I have is what is his role.  Burgos sounds like a set up man similar to Mota. Is he just a replacement for Bradford or is Heilman now expendable again. It is said that Burgos can be erratic.  Is he this off season version of Jorge Julio?
