Figueroa Pitch's Near No-Hitter

Nelson Figueroa pitched a no-hitter through nine innings yesterday but gave up a single in the 10th. Figueroa, pitching for Lara in the Venezuelan winter league, struck out 10 and walked just one prior to giving up a single to open the bottom of the 10th. He was removed after the hit but got the win as Lara one the playoff game 1-0. Click here for the full story.
