David Wright hit a game tying ninth inning home run in an exhibition game against the Yomiuri Giants in Tokyo last night.  With the MLB All Stars trailing by 3 in the ninth Andrew Jones hit a solo shot then with one man on and two outs, Wright crushed one into the left center field stands to tie the game at 7.  The Giants did not score in the bottom of the 9th so the game ended in a tie, common practice in Japanese baseball.  They do not play extra innings.

Tonight (actually Friday at 4:00AM EST) the MLB All Stars will play the Nippon All Stars in a best of 5 series.  The first three games will be played in the Tokyo Dome.  The games can be seen on MLB.TV or listened to on MLB Gameday Audio, unless of course you would rather be sleeping.  The 5 games of the series will be played even if all 5 are not necessary.
