Congratulations to the 2006 NL East Champion New York Mets.  You may have not won it all but you certainly won our hearts.  Thank you for the wonderful season that exceeded our expectations.  You gave us thrills and exciting baseball all season long.  All we can ask of you is to give 100 percent and you never let us down once all year.  The 2006 Mets will be remembered as one of the most exciting teams in franchise history.  All of us Mets fans are truly proud of what you accomplished individually and as a team.  I can hardly wait for spring training 2007 to begin.  Rest up gentleman and enjoy your off season, you have deserved it.
